Tsatsi Mahlatsi is the founder of Summit Partners. He has more than 30 years of business experience in deal structuring, project finance, corporate finance, capital raising, valuation, treasury, financial risk management, and related fields in the energy, mining, and logistics sectors. As the lead in energy assets finance and investments, Tsatsi is focused on winning and delivery of a suite of power-related investment finance solutions from local and international capital markets, including, but not limited to, lenders, developers, owners, investors, and other stakeholders. Summit Partners is a prominent partner of the Mzansi Energy Consortium.
Wessel Wessels is the founder of J2G, a company that is now 10 years old in the renewable energy space, and boosted by his 25 years of business experience, mostly linked to innovative technology strategies and mature operational models. His leadership saw him play a lead innovative role in the solar and PPA industry in South Africa. As the head of technical and operations, Wessel continues to play a major role in providing technical input into multiple projects, and the winning and delivery of projects offering a suite of power-related services, including, but not limited to, independent engineering, owner’s engineering, performance, energy storage, grid connection services and managing or directing projects appropriately. J2G is a prominent partner of the Mzansi Energy Consortium.
Tumi Mogoera is the founder of MSV Developers, a company established in 2016 as a clean and renewable energy assets development company with extraordinary capabilities for energy assets commercialisation and marketing. His leadership of MSV has seen the company acquire large contracts, including the 2017 transaction advisory for a 50 MW GTP plant. He is the ex-CEO of emerging South African Solar Co. Tumi is focused on the winning and delivery of projects offering a suite of power-related services, including, but not limited to, energy sustainability and transition solutions, and energy and mobility solutions for domestic and international clients drawn from lenders, developers, owners, investors, and other stakeholders. Currently, MSV Developers is an associate partner of Summit Partners, a prominent partner of the Mzansi Energy Consortium.
